It’s Time for A.J. To Pull A Hank Snow

April 30, 2008

Mark Stein from ESPN is reporting that the Mavericks and Avery Johnson are parting ways. This is such a disappointing end to a coaching run that started with such promise. Just think, a little over two years ago the Mavericks plowed their way through the Suns and Spurs and managed to take a two game lead in the Finals. At that time, could anyone have predicted this thing falling apart the way it has?

The Right Choice?

April 30, 2008

For every Pacman Jones and Chad Johnson, there’s a Tashard Choice. All we hear about are the trouble makers, when it’s dudes like this that hold teams together. Choice was the Cowboys’ fourth round pick out of Georgia Tech.

I’m gonna go tackle somebody now.

John Daly In His Element

April 30, 2008

No, he didn’t buy Jerrod’s car from him. John Daly did a little interview (with some Chris-Chris hack who can’t talk very well) while on a recent trip to one of the courses he is helping to design. And he did it… well… shirtless. And shoeless. With a cigarette hanging out of his mouth. This is one of those videos that you HAVE to watch if you are a golf fan or know who John Daly is.

Sidenote - if anyone knows how to embed this video into a page, please let me know. I tried to figure it out but have neither the time or energy this morning.

Romo Continues To Exhibit Great Judgment

April 29, 2008

It’s being reported that Tony Romo gambled away $2.5 million in a recent trip to Las Vegas. His overspending was even enough to make Jessica get upset. When a girl that stupid and frivolous is astonished with your lack of financial sense, then it might be time to re-evaluate the decisions you’re making.

Roger Staubach and Troy Aikman need to start teaching a class to Dallas Cowboys quarterbacks about how to handle yourself with class.

Best Team Since the 95 Cowboys?

Need I say more?

Noticing A Theme Yet?

April 28, 2008

Remember a few years back in Georgia when an 18-year-old black man was sentenced to 10 years in prison for having consensual sex with a 15-year-old white girl? That man was Marcus Dixon, and he was found guilty of statutory rape, a misdemeanor, and aggravated child molestation, a felony, back in 2003 in a very controversial trial that was filled with racist undertones. The Georgia Supreme Court eventually overturned Dixon’s excessive sentence and he was released after 15 months in jail.

He went on to attend Hampton University where he played defensive end and served as a captain on the football team. And as of yesterday, he’s the newest member of the Dallas Cowboys.

I’m eager to see what kind of grandstanding Dale Hansen is going to do over this one.

Roger Clemens - Mindy McCready Exposed!

April 28, 2008

It appears that Roger Clemens might be one of the pervs driving traffic to our site. It seems that he too has a taste for 15-year-olds. Apparently, Clemens began an extra-marital affair with country-singer Mindy McCready when she was only 15 and he was 28.

Is there any hope for mankind?

Jessica Simpson and Miley Cyrus - Naked Together Soon?

April 28, 2008

Given  Papa Joe’s track record for treating his two celebrity daughters with less care and dignity than a $5 street walker, I’d say that these two dads (Billy Ray Cyrus and Joe Simpson) have to be putting something like this together soon. It’s a shame that we can’t put people in jail for being stupid.

RE: Miley Cyrus Pics - Scantily Clad?

April 28, 2008

Further proof that Billy Ray Cyrus is the anti-Christ. Nothing like whoring out your 15-year-old daughter to make a buck. Especially after it was just announced that she’s gonna be a billionaire by the year’s end.

It’s A Kick Save And A Beauty

April 28, 2008

Awesome.

Miley Cyrus Pics - Scantily Clad?

April 28, 2008

Seriously, she is a teenager - not even legal! Why in the world are so many people so ravenous when it comes to seeing pics of teenage girls wearing little clothes? Whether it’s Vanessa Hudgens, or Miley Cyrus, I don’t see the fascination. Grow up and get a hobby that doesn’t involve skulking around the Internet trying to find pictures of pre-teens in their bras and panties. Pervs.

Well, We Do Have This

April 28, 2008

Thanks For Coming - Exits Are Clearly Marked, Please Come Again

April 28, 2008

And with the worst excuse for a professional basketball game I have probably ever wasted my time in watching, the Mavs seal their post season fate. Thanks for nothing, Avery. Wait, what’s that? They still have one more game left? I guess I should save this post and put it up after that game… which I would do… if I cared enough. Which I don’t.

Welcome To The Playoffs, Mavs

April 26, 2008

Look who decided to show up for the playoffs last night! The Mavs played with purpose and toughness for the first time in this series. Erick Dampier exacted a little revenge towards the end of the game when he body-checked Chris Paul into the first row of fans behind the basket.

Hopefully the Mavs can build a little momentum off last night’s win and send this thing back to New Orleans tied at 2-2.

Cowboys Already On The Move

April 26, 2008

The draft is still more than an hour from starting and the Cowboys are already wheelin’ and dealin’. The ‘Boys will send tight end Anthony Fasano and linebacker Akin Ayodele to the Miami Dolphins for a fourth round pick. I couldn’t care less about losing Fasano, who was a complete waste of second round pick since the Cowboys already had the best tight end in the NFL. However, I’m sad to see Ayodele go. Ayodele is an Irving native (like me) and loved playing for the Cowboys. His play here was consistent and productive, but Ayodele was the odd man out when the Cowboys signed Zach Thomas earlier this year.

Dale Hansen Has a Hot Sports Opinion

April 25, 2008

I know, I know. “So, what’s new?”, you ask? Well, in this one he invokes racial tension, Osama Bin Laden and Joseph McCarthey. Pretty good rant by Dale if I do say so myself - if not for sheer comedic value alone.

The Foresight Of Liberals

April 25, 2008

Thank you, Mr. Gore. Look what you’ve helped to create. But I guess it doesn’t matter because you got paid. You got the notoriety that you were always desperate for. Now, the rest of the world has to pay for your lies. Once again, thank you.

Cowboys Pull Trigger On Pacman Trade

April 24, 2008

The Cowboys finally wrapped up the Pacman Jones trade yesterday. I couldn’t be happier. The ‘Boys basically gave up nothing for a Pro Bowl-caliber cornerback. Dallas will send a fourth round pick to the Titans this year and a sixth round pick next for Jones. And if Jones isn’t reinstated by the commissioner, the Cowboys will get the fourth round pick back next year. It’s also been reported that the Cowboys have already written up a four year contract for Pacman that contains no guaranteed money.

Jerry Jones loves to wheel and deal, and in this case, I think he’s gonna come out way ahead. Jones was the first defensive player drafted in 2005, sixth overall out of West Virginia, and easily was Tennessee’s best defender in 2005 and ‘06. His four career interceptions came in 2006 as he helped the Titans to an 8-8 record. He also led the NFL in punt-return average in 2006 with 12.9 yards per return and three touchdowns.

This move easily gives Dallas the league’s best secondary. Best of all, it will finally allow the Cowboys to get Roy Williams out of pass coverage and play near the line of scrimmage where he belongs.
